She was the spouse of Mr. Arnold Sope. 

Mrs. Hazel Cornejo Matutoc, was half-blooded Cebuano-Maguindanaon whose father was a pure-blooded Maguindanaon for Cotabato Province. Mrs. Sope was often called "Ema" as her palayaw or nickname. She was mother of seven children, where three of them died during there infant days. The surviving children of Mr. Sope and Mrs. Sope namely Ferry Diana (the eldest), Arson Mharc, John Lloyd and Gab Harris (youngest).
